Our Story

At Words on Wood, YOU can design your own masterpiece! We help you design and create custom signs that can be purchased or ordered online in our shop or in our studio on Center Street in Wallingford, Connecticut. We also host amazing wood sign parties in your location or in our BYOB studio. YOU are the designer but we will help you every step of the way! 

Creating masterpieces with Words on Wood is addictive. Sign parties are so much fun that many people decide to book their own party after attending one. We are looking forward to seeing what's in store for Words on Wood. We are having a blast!

Words on Wood started in 2016 with custom signs and home parties. 
In 2018 we opened our first Words on Wood Studio in downtown Wallingford, Connecticut. Our studio is located at 144 Center Street.

We have DIY workshops where you can order ahead using our online design tools to create anything on your sign or drop in and choose from one of our in house designs. We also do private parties - a great time for a night out with friends or a great bonding experience for your company.

Our children's birthday parties and craft events include everything you need to ensure a great birthday without any stress.

Words on Wood also does custom wood products - corn hole games, live edge tables, barn doors, laser engraved charcuterie....The possibilities are endless.
